I just want to pay respect to Gregory Itzin and the writers for giving us a real treat - the shoot-down order was the first time, in my estimation, that we got to see President Evil Jellyfish do his dithering act while having all the information that he had. Very well done.

Great summary, but you omitted the best part of Chloe's blackmail: she figured out that Miles is some kind of touch-o-phobe and would never have harrassed that hot (albeit in need of a sandwich) Sherry.

The praying scene was designed solely to make Logan look ridiculous, and succeeded admirably. I don't think it looked at all out of character - I suspect if we'd had to listen in on the prayer, it would have sounded like one of Logan's calls to Bill Buchanan: "Save them now, God! This is the President speaking!"
